I am now using a Tripp Lite 1500VA 900W SMART1500LCDT. So far, no issues, but that doesn't mean I won't have a similar experience to CyberPower down the road. I suppose only time will tell.

APC Smart UPS? Yes but still looking to replace them with Eaton, APC Back-UPS? I had worse experience with those than CyberPower

Simulated sine wave isn't "fake energy waves" but it does introduce more noise into your system. I had to reset a WiFi router, WiFi hot spot, and video system about once a week because one of them...

My son has a VA1500 and then I a massive one, I forget how big. It weighs damn near 100 lbs. and cost $800. Anyway, we had a surge and ever since then his PC has random shutdowns if he’s pushing...

I can't speak to the warranty or claims process, but the CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD Pure Sinewave I bought in 2012 and have been using non-stop since is still going strong. Looking to pick up another...

A lot of guys I know like Tripplite. APC was abysmal. Cyberpower has been going strong for years and handled a power outage the other evening like it was new....

That would be but one use, and it's rather narrow minded of you to save that 'anything else' is terrible. My UPS keeps my PC running during brown-outs and surges, which occur here a lot more...

I would look locally first. Most cities will have a battery store that stocks or can get batteries. I myself needed 45 12 volt 5 Ah batteries for my UPS and I was going to buy online and spend 100...

Eaton is better then both of them but to be honest any of these consumer battery backups are made extremely cheap and I would bet you APC is no better and I bet their insurance is a scam as well. Any...
