Yes, you can remove the cover on the bottom and take the battery out. APC does not list a replacement but you can buy the same battery/model of battery on Amazon. The battery is not branded APC.

You can turn it off (intermittent beeping). I think it does beep once no matter what though. This stopped powering my playstation 4 in rest mode anymore for more than an hour, and now at 2 years old,...

Unlikely. This unit is rated for 255W and a low end gaming PC will take more than 150W, and each monitor is generally on 50W of course depending on model and usage. What this adds up to is that this...

Last July, I also bought some of the 650VA/350W for $35. So the Black Friday deal effect seem to be only $5. OD now selling the 650VA/350W model for $80. Just seems like a pretty large increase...

Not very interesting. That was a Black Friday deal, this is your ho-hum regular non-Holiday sale. Bought a couple of those back then as well. Besides more capacity, it has a 1.5A USB port and data...

Yeah it's so weird how prices seem to come down as one gets closer to the day after Thanksgiving. I've been noticing this trend for several years now. 😂

Interesting how backups have increase so much in price. Bought the 650VA/350W back in November with no coupons for $30.

Does this beep if the power goes off? I'd rather it not.

My experience with the stock factory batteries is generally pretty good, I'd say 5+ years. I've had some still working at 8 years. But the warranty of 3 yrs definitely will cover a battery problem...

The replacement battery is usually more expensive than just buying a new unit (on sale).

I had one. You will need to unscrew the case to replace the battery. No easy pull-n-plug replace method available.

I have one of these, the battery comes disconnected, you need to open it to connect the battery before you use it (see the user manual). When the battery dies, you just need to get the same capacity...

Are you sure this model has user replaceable batteries? I searched for a replacement battery on APC's website and this model doesn't show up as having replaceable batteries.

It has a 3 year warranty. I assume that covers the battery. But how long does a battery last? And I assume it's cheaper just to replace the unit rather than just the battery. Any feedback?

A few minutes. These are made to give you enough time to shut your computer down when the power goes out, not to allow you to continue gaming. Unless the outage is very short.

this good for a average gaming PC and 2 monitors? How long would it hold up while running on it.

Battery is user replaceable. I bought two and had one die within 4 months. Shut off and would not turn back on. RMA was painless though.
