Yes, you can remove the cover on the bottom and take the battery out. APC does not list a replacement but you can buy the same battery/model of battery on Amazon. The battery is not branded APC.

Last July, I also bought some of the 650VA/350W for $35. So the Black Friday deal effect seem to be only $5.

My experience with the stock factory batteries is generally pretty good, I'd say 5+ years. I've had some still working at 8 years. But the warranty of 3 yrs definitely will cover a battery problem...

I had one. You will need to unscrew the case to replace the battery. No easy pull-n-plug replace method available.

I have one of these, the battery comes disconnected, you need to open it to connect the battery before you use it (see the user manual). When the battery dies, you just need to get the same capacity...

Are you sure this model has user replaceable batteries? I searched for a replacement battery on APC's website and this model doesn't show up as having replaceable batteries.

It has a 3 year warranty. I assume that covers the battery. But how long does a battery last? And I assume it's cheaper just to replace the unit rather than just the battery. Any feedback?

A few minutes. These are made to give you enough time to shut your computer down when the power goes out, not to allow you to continue gaming. Unless the outage is very short.

Battery is user replaceable.
