I've found that the Cascade Platinum and the Finish Quantum work well in both our Kitchen Aid and Fisher and Paykel machines are the best. Don't need rinse aid with either.

Aren't these pacs expensive compared to liquid? E.g,, Costco has 125 fl oz Cascade Advanced for, iirc, $.8.49. Probably gives around 100 washes. That is, 0.08 cents/wash, or half the price of OP...

The originals suck, even the complete are terrible. Found only the platinum's work to really get off some caked on food. With these we hardly ever pre-rinse anything. YMMV
