The carabiner as a whole isn't exactly user friendly so I'm guessing most would clip to the loop, anyway. The fact that you would open it slowly to connect or disconnect from the carabiner...

I usually like Kershaw knives but this looks like a dangerous design. To open the carabiner you actually expose the blade.
