Got my M (2 orange) today - it appears that M orange is actually "Men's M" size - basically for flat people. And yes, they are running small because "Men's M" is 36-38 which is actually S for unisex

I used one (the S/M size) on a Waverunner I was able to clip the key to one of the straps, but maybe it depends on the clip on your key?
