This is an OK deal. This HP is basically the same drive as the ADATA SX8200 Pro which has been $134.99 - $10 coupon at Amazon for the past month or so. I picked up the 2TB ADATA and it's great so far.

I have the EX920 and that blade does not have 4k LBA sectoring (Advanced Format). It only has 512e. Can someone confirm if this EX950 has 4k sectoring?

nah, file system design will always favor larger drives to prevent fragmentation. there are other hardware benefits as well. you may be thinking of the performance benefit of raid 0 drives.
