As a follow-up, mine lasted a solid 3 weeks then broke. White screen, and some beeping. Writing with them for a full refund. Sucks, I normally do good with refurbs. Definitely worth the money...

4k has literally four times the pixel density. I strongly doubt it would be a minimal difference.
