is there a reference on ryobi tools and their amperage usage? For instance if you charge the battery and run to to empty on the OP tool what can you tell without knowing the motor amp draw?

Your only option (without having electronics tools) is to charge it up, use it with the tool and run it down and see if it has correct or acceptable capacity.

It might be. The battery is definitely warm. But not so warm as to cause discomfort when you touch it. Probably because it shut down. 😂
