Well, I'd be worried about reliability. But besides that, it's just a super basic SSD. SATA, No DRAM, etc. Nothing wrong with it if you trust its reliability.

Perhaps this SSD has no DRAM, and the controller is known as the SM2258XT. The performance of the SM2258XT controller is very poor. However, a very cheap SSD is a big advantage.

just got the replacement drive today and can confirm it is the correct 1TB drive. Did a quick test and it is the typical SATA SSD read and write speed as expected.

just a fun fact, the cheapest 2.5 inch 1T HDD is current about 50 dollars. why do they even bother making those crap when ssd can be hand for about 10 dollar more is beyond me.

This is no DRAM in this model, that just means it'll last maybe 15-20% less life before corruption, that might mean it'll last either 1 year or 2 years less and you should have a separate backup...
