They keep coming out with that sale from time to time but the refurbished ones it seems are as good as they carry the same 2 year warranty.

I’ve been waiting for refurb of this to show up. Was really hoping it would be less than $2k. Like previous post said, you can get it new for less than $2.5k (actually $2339 in the post recent deal)....

I have the 4000 and the reviews say is very close to this one and got it for $800 refurbished, once you flush mount to the ceiling with crazy lens shift capability, you won’t go back.
