They keep coming out with that sale from time to time but the refurbished ones it seems are as good as they carry the same 2 year warranty.

I have the 4000 and the reviews say is very close to this one and got it for $800 refurbished, once you flush mount to the ceiling with crazy lens shift capability, you won’t go back.
