I have two of these, mostly music use, matched with Polk LSi15's. They sound fantastic together. This is the best sub you can buy under $300 for music. For HT imho you always want a ported 12"...

Just bought the RC263, R162s and RS152s the R12 sub for a small 10'x11' bedroom mancave. I have a feeling the R12 is the weakpoint, but I'm not looking to spend spend much more than the crazy good...
