When it was only 35% off, I don't think there was a $20 maximum, total for a large bag of dog food ended up worse with 40% off for me than earlier this year at 35%.

Yes, it asks you for the CC info for the subscription but in the end, after my GC was applied, only my GC was charged. I plan on cancelling the sub after I received my item.
