You can buy a locking hitch pin but how much do you want to spend to secure a $55 bike rack? The bikes are typically worth more and it’s tough to secure the bikes on the rack itself to prevent theft.

I am usually not too worried about it , since the bikes i use are not very expensive . And even if you can lock the hitch there are other ways to steal the bikes or take parts away if someone was so...
