.this Cast iron is great for cooking many things but not for a wok. Takes too long to bring to high heat unless you have a 'commercial' gas HOB. True wok (which does not have a flat bottom)...

cast iron is also not good for wok cooking because of how long it takes to hear and cool, and the poor heat distribution

i like the idea of dedicated piece of cast iron for the grill, despite the fact that this is very different and not a replacement for a traditional wok. i would probably buy something deeper though.
