As far as other recommendations: Alwa's Awakening is also quite good. Hollow Knight has gone down to 7.50 recently but I waited a year for that sale and it was only a couple months ago.

I personally do not feel it plays anything like a Castlevania game. Wasn’t a fan of Chasm as much as I wanted to like it.

I'm playing Ritual of the Night and it's fine, reminds me of Symphony of the Night. Only bad thing to me is the restart after you die, takes awhile about 3ish minutes.
