It will work fine as long as you tune the settings down a bit in the game. Obviously it won't be doing max everything 144fps, but will be very playable.

This laptop's 1660 Ti is ~50% faster than the 1650 Ti in that one.

Did you mean this RTX2060 model of the Gateway? it is currently $799. (but not $650/699 like during the Holidays)...

I purchased a open box razer i7 tenth gen, 16gb ram, 512 ssd and 1650 Ti 120hz for 850. Is that a slick deal or should I wait? It seems like a nice laptop but I wasn't really wanting to spend $900...

I was actually considering pulling the trigger on this, seems like a great combination of specs for the price and my 1050 just isn’t cutting it anymore. No numpad is the deal breaker for me.

At that price you may as well grab a 3060/3070 equipped laptop.

I have had the i5-9300h with a 120hz display variant of this laptop since June and I can say that it’s honestly impossible to get even 120fps on Warzone even on lowest possible settings. I get...

Your local Walmart might still have the i7-10750H variant (but 120 Hz refresh rate) for $699 or lower, if you didn't miss out on the clearance deal. Around me, 3 Walmarts are yet to put in on...

This or a renewed 2020 13” MacBook Pro with 16ram and 512 ssd for 2x as much? Never had a MacBook. Is it worth 2x the price of this machine?

I don't think 13.3" laptops come in anything better than 1650ti. 1660ti/RTX 2060 and higher are much better, but too power hungry and get too hot to cram into a small 13.3" chasis. If you want...

Check benchmarks. Most likely a 1650 is fine for what you want, but a 1660 Ti is a lot faster.

Not imo. MacBooks are nice but you can do more on windows. BUT if you're native OS on your phone is iOS then you might be more comfortable with a macbook.

Thanks OP! My order also came with a free M99 mouse. Looks like the $79.99 price tag on the mouse is a bit overinflated though, but nonetheless still a good deal for the laptop and mouse combo.

I recommend the Walmart Gateway Creator Gaming Laptop 15.6 model slickdeal. It comes with a numeric pad that's very streamlined. $650 out the door for me!

So $900 is a steal for this device but I get more bang for the buck potentially with the extra weight. That does make me wonder if I should get the warranty but then this laptop is no longer a deal.

Picked the wrong year to need a new gaming laptop. They are still shoving out junk for more money than they went for last fall, this chip shortage is allowing them to gouge on junk.
