Mine arrived in perfect shape. Let it sit 24hrs so it can settle. Plugged in and has been running perfect, freezing cold since. It seems hit or miss as far as delivery condition.

2-cents on upright vs chest freezer. Organize and label body parts better in upright but the whole corpse fits nicely in the chest till the ground thaws. Maybe get both!
