These are passive speakers, not monitors. You would need an amp to connect them to an audio interface.

That was a great deal. Wharfedale is a very warm sound, while Triangle is more neutral. I auditioned both and my frugality won, but it was a tough choice.

I auditioned a handful of competitors (kef, wharfedale) in my home and enjoyed these the most in the price range. Depends on your ear for certain.
