I have these. Really handy and definitely cuts through 12ga romex. Though I have used them on maybe 5 outlet/switch replacements so I don't doubt the comment above about dullness after extensive use....

Should I really be expected to baby a pair of Irwin snips on 12ga romex? Is it unreasonable to expect them to not be dulled if I cut romex twice? Is this, in any way, a better performer than a $2.49...
