Yeah I use plastic shoebox size containers I got from lowe's for like a buck each. Not food grade, but I'm not eating out of them either. They just stay in the fridge to hold stuff.

i got InterDesign bins for my fridge & freezer - quality is outstanding. only advice i can offer is you want something with a bit of twist to it if these bins are too rigid they will crack over...
