don't buy cheap lav mic. there's reason it is cheap. most of them xannot handle big sound (SPL is low) even with reduced gain.

You will regret this purchase unless you are under the age of ten. Don’t skimp on audio. Even as a “backup” I wouldn’t go this cheap.

I bought it last time and I returned it. It sounded really bad in my opinion. Using the built in phone mic was way better for me

To your second point, they pretty much all come with a USB-C or Lightning to 3.5mm adapter, no? So that one's a non-issue.

This is a mic for things like video blogging. I have this mic and it works fine for that. Noise reduction is a fancy way of saying it has a piece of foam covering it.

If this was a route you really wanted to pursue you could probably use a USB DAC, there are some really small ones that's function simply as adapters.
