Depends on your definition of what a good monitor is. The S2721DGF is an IPS display, which to someone like me is far superior to the VA display on the S3220DGF.

Depends if the laptop has a MUX switch to enable G-sync. Most use passthrough on the iGPU which won't allow adaptive sync.
