As long as the drip zone is turned on/off with a sprinkler valve, then yes. When you define the zone it asks you what kinds of sprinklers are on it to understand how many gallons per minute it is...

YMMV I was able to get a Gen 3 16 zone brown box from Rachio via my local water company (Elk Grove Water) for $80.80 after taxes. Rachio applied the discount to the purchase, no rebate forms.

YMMV I was able to get a Gen 3 8 zone new from my local water company promo / rebate for $99. For reference promo was through nyam water.

I had one connected to sprinkler as well as drip system, yes. Make sure to set it up that way in the app. Seemed to work well for us!

I have the gen 2 with 16 zones. We use all zones and it works awesome INCLUDING adjustment for weather. Check your facts!
