yes, it'll only power up when both power and USB are connected

Easystore is the BB version of the Elements. Same internal drive. Both use white label drives. I have used both and drives are IDENTICAL.

More than plastic casing. I have pulled elements drive out of it box and it is not the same drive. The Elements is sold for a good price but I had too many failure rates with Elements.
