That is supposed to be a good charger, but it's only a charger. :( I am thinking if you have an LED flashlight that runs on just 1 (or maybe 2) AA cells that it could be used to safely discharge...

If you have a smart charger, then try discharging them and recharging them at 300mA (give or take) several times to recondition them. Some smart chargers have Test, Repair, or Recondition functions...
