Pretty disappointed with the wrenches. The jaws on the open end are poorly machined, almost wavy instead of flat. Amazon reviews confirm this. Sending them back...

So who are you gonna donate them to? :laugh1:

They finally just got back to me as well, saying they're giving me a full refund and that I can "dispose of or donate the other two ratchets at convenience"

I told them I would take the $10 discount rather than have to send it back, they responded by saying they're refunding the entire cost and I can keep the 2 ratchets. I already got the refund emails...

My thoughts exactly. I was annoyed that they valued them equally, but it is still a good deal. I think I was just extra bothered because I bought it mainly for the 1/2", but oh well 🤷

Even by a minimal calculation, if 1/3 of the product is missing, they should refund you at least 1/3 (33%), which would be $10. Obviously, though, a 1/2 ratchet is worth more than 1/4 ratchet, but...

Haha. Great math. I’ll email them and see as well. 4.50 for a missing 1/2” ratchet is pretty measly.

They said "15% which amounts to $10", but 15% would be $4.50.

What was the discount? Just got them and only had two ratchets too. Would probably keep depending on the discount.

They told me I can either get a discount or a refund. I'm undecided because the 1/2" is what I really bought it for, but they are nice and they are here already 😂

I also only received the 1/4" and 3/8" ratchets but was missing the 1/2". I'm waiting on a response from Woot to see what can be done about it.

Ooph, freakin death wobbles D: We had a bit of a scare with ours seeming like it was starting to seriously develop them, but luckily it was apparently just some uneven tire wear and needing a...

I love how someone thumbed you down and probably have no clue what death wobble is.

That would be subjective, objective and argumentative. Meanwhile, HD also sells GearWrench. I am rather impressed with the recent portable DeWalt socket sets and the Milwaukee are every bit as good...

For many American cars/trucks, the rule of thumb was body bolts are metric, but anything connected to the engine or integral to the engine, is SAE. This covers the transition period of mid-80's to...

This is no 'better' in a unit of measure, there just is use cases. It's clear your experience and exposure is limited (no pun intended) If all you work in is imported or late model cars, it's...

A complete set is a complete set.... and metric requires more sockets/wrenches to be complete than SAE does down to the 1/16 sizes. If you want to include down to 1/32 sizes, then SAE will have more....
