Pretty sure they both have the same ETA 2824-2 movement as a base. Some Jazz Masters have 2825s. Only some minor differences such as rotor finish. Hamilton, Tissot and ETA are owned by Swatch.

Doubtful. The H-12 movement is custom-made for Hamilton by ETA, and as far as I could find, only the Jazzmaster uses the movement.

I recommend these to go with your Jazzmaster guitar.
Unfortunately, without the guitar, a lot of the features won't work.
