Never leave this in a car. No matter what they state. The heat and cold will destroy the battery in a season. Use batteryless chargers for car like Schumacher ones or others from Amazon.

It might have a capacitor and not be jumping directly off of the battery. They make jump starters that have no battery at all. They charge a capacitor with whatever is left of the dying car battery...
