I use a Bissel steam mop called the Sapphire Powerfresh Deluxe. The pad just goes in the washing machine if you have one available.

I have a steamer. Cleans with just water. Works on all floor types (I use it for wood and ceramic). The pads are washable. Best thing I could have ever purchased. No refills, no chemicals.

We usually get these at BJs Club, for about $13 for 40 (after BJs coupon) - sometimes it is $12 So this is a good price, even without the hassles of S&S I will pick up a box - thx.

Those refills are where they make their money. We've bought exactly 1 full size bottle and refilled it over and over. True SDers are still refilling the trial size bottle the mop came with. :please:

The people who clean my house use a rag on the end of a Swiffer. I've tried it myself and it's not great but it works.
