Not really a gamer, is it worth the upgrade to the 34" from the 35"? I see better response time 8 to 4ms, better curve 1800R to 1500R, better frequency 100hz to 144hz.

Interested in the Dark Matter one, but coming from a Dell U3415W, is this a huge upgrade for someone who games and uses the monitor for work? I love the KVM switch within the Dell U3415W, wondering...

I am looking to buy a 49” monitor for Trading, where I need 2-3 screens open at a time. Do you think 49” will work or I should go for two 34” monitors? I really appreciate your suggestion.

The LG is a better monitor, except for the size.

I really want the 43 or 49(1st choice) but I'm intimidated by the size coming from a 32 in 1440p. I think I would enjoy the extra real estate because I code and game (mostly single player FPS and the...

I have this monitor. It has a fair amount of backlight bleed. I sent it back to get another one and the replacement was actually worse. I still use it and deal w the bleed but it is a little annoying.

That Dell you are using, as far as I know, does not have USB-C port, just USB 3, DP and HDMI. The LG does. The problem is supposed to be with the USB-C direct connect from a M1 Mac.
Post #147671887 added 06-05-2021 10:51 AM by WingsOfF in Deal Talk
There are a lot of reported problems with connecting the M1 Macs to external monitors (sleep/wake issues or not detecting the monitor which seems to be a handshake problem) and seems to be a hit or...

Yeap. So far what I am seeing is the new Dells are working better than LG. Probably should buy from somewhere with easy return. With dongles I think most monitors wouldn't have problem.

It should work, but as someone who uses a Mac Mini for work, I prefer monitors with a USB-C port and a built USB hub. That way it’s a single cable from the Mac Mini to the monitor, and you can plug...

Go for a IPS panel (not these). That will be the largest upgrade to you - not the size, curve or the minor refresh rate bump. The colors pop more, less washed out looking, and the viewing angles are...
