Yep, its what I use. It's made for gaming but works fine for using content over the web, but only with Firefox, Chrome and Edge seem to block it for the DRM.

It doesn’t work on mine with native tv apps. I had to plug in a streaming device.

Yes. I had the play bars and once I seen the gradient strip came out I had to have it. The wife got it for my birthday and it is considerably better than the play bars. I use them all together.

This will not work with apps built into the tv. You have to have a streaming device plugged into the sync box for it to read the color information. It's worth it to buy a Roku, fire stick, or shield...

Totally agree. Have all that to along with two light bars for the bottom of the tv (it's a 75" & couldn't find a 75" gradient). May not visit a theater again with this setup along with ATMOS system.

You can't use it with TV apps. It needs the source to pass video through it.

Can’t be done AFAIK. Has to have a HDMI-in source. If you wanna do it on the cheap, get a cheap Fire Stick etc and connect it to your play box. No way for the box to read the native TV apps without...

I suppose this is pretty cool for a more plug and play setup. But honestly I've done the exact same thing with a raspberry pi, some regular LED strips and Hyperion on github
