I believed Home Depot use their own sub contract local delivery to compete with Amazon. Several times I got the package delivered by nonspecific van without uniform.

I think it does come with batts... and most likely LR44. There was a comment about "batts not required," but I think that was misleading in that it meant batteries were not required bc it already...
