Could be but it really looks like what they did put a turd in the punchbowl. The data they got back does not make any sense so they are certainly using other data sources to augment the DNA.

I think he is saying once your DNA is out there, they can reasonably identify you based on your relatives matching their DNA database and public genealogy records.
