Lol at the price jump and the p5 is a good drive. The dram cache recovers almost immediately after idle, so much better than this one (superior) in writing large files when comparing to this one.

The use of Dram in SSD has nothing to do with data size at all. The main use for dram is to cache the logical to physical table, it is mainly benefit for latency for random access.

BB still has the 1tb Crucial p5 for $91.99 free shipping. a better performing drive with dram cache that also has 256 encryption. Runs abit warmer but for what is offers it is a steal at $91.99...
