Start by changing 1/2 of the water out. If you just got the tank, there's really no reason for cloudy water. Also do some research on 'tank cycling'. goodluck and definitely don't buy anymore fish...

The 3.5 gallon was delivered today and had a big crack in the middle of the back. They are giving me a refund but any way to fix it? Kind of happy I got a refund though, the quality isn't great.

Get a fresh water test kit or even simple test strips that you dip in your tank OR bring some water to your LFS (local fish store) and they will test your water for free.

It should be fine so long as everything is moved over to the new tank… filter media, gravel, etc. It should conserve the bacteria.
