Depending on the store manager, they will either return pre-coupon money and then ring you up without coupons OR manually adjust the return price to post-coupon price and then again adjust price...

Yeah…the crazy part is that rewards are payments, so after all is said and done sort of, ideally they shouldn’t mess up the spend but they do…and even crazier is that the friggin estimated rewards...

Years ago I used to buy after-rewards freebies from RiteAid and CVS. IIRC spend requirements with RiteAid and/or CVS rewards programs were based on pre-rewards and pre-coupons. Now with Walg cash...
