The newer version is $80 off today, the first discount ever (it just launched). Basically identical but with the EVO processor. Much better graphics and Thunderbolt 4.

Lenovo from Costco has a worse screen but better performance due to larger memory and SSD over emmc. Lenovo is much better for media consuming because of the aspect ratio of the screen. Acer one...

Been using 2 of the last year i5/8g model and really liking them. The screen is amazing and I'm glad Acer didn't change it on their newer replacement models. Highly recommend!

I don't think so.I got it at $329 and am happy with it. It is slow to wake up though. Screen comes on quickly, but it is unresponsive for around 10secs. Might be to do with the EMMC?

eMMC is slower than SSDs. It's cheap memory, which is why manufacturers use it on inexpensive devices.
