I’d tried both and kinivo is much better. Amazon echo auto is basically useless.

Love mine. No issues. It also acts as an iPhone Bluetooth connection for my car via cassette player. Check news and traffic on the go. Also built my own mileage tracker.

I use my phone to start and have it just speak out the turn by turn. I've only used it a few times just calling out a specific place but it's been fine.

I bought one to play around with but it's very buggy. I also found just installing the app on your phone and connecting to Bluetooth was a better free (assuming you already have the phone) option.
