Don't count on their bullshit Discount Lock. More than half the time it's a lie and they'll tell you they can renew the sub, but at 2x, 3x or 4x the price you paid.

some here may be unaware: the digital subscription of the Economist is, to me, by far superior than the paper one as every story is available in audio form.

I've never had a problem resolving any concerns directly with the publisher. I'd rather go right to the source instead of using DM as the middle man, but I'm glad it worked out for you.

Honestly I've had the opposite experience. I once had an issue with a sub. I contacted DM and they took care of it right away. A+ my one time needing to work they them.
