Thanks for posting this! I however returned the last one, and reordered one during the tax free weekend. The new one did come Intel wifi card, and it works flawlessly now.

Best Buy student account does not need a student email. They will take your word for it. You just have to declare that you are a student when you set up the account. Not sure of the requirements...

Sure enough, on the bottom of the yoga 6 it say, contains realtek module. I guess there's more than one module.

So the listed specs here are wrong. Realtek wifi cards are indeed horrible, I don't understand why manufacturers try to save like $2 on this, it surely costs them more in support calls and returns....

No, it's not Intel, it's realtek rtl8852. I've been using it and the 5g connection fluctuate from 150mb to below 5mb. it has disconnected yet.

Just be on the lookout for wifi issue. It somehow starts fine but gets worse over time. I'm not sure if there's a way to fix this but I'm certainly no pro in this area.
