The software for the camera is way better on pixel, even using Gcam and config files I can't get my OnePlus 8 anywhere near pixel level unless I'm messing something up. Otherwise I hear you and agree

The 8 has a better processor but you lose the telephoto lens and 4GB of ram, and the better resolution. I’d get this too if it worked on ATT which apparently it doesn’t, oh well.

Not even close, the OnePlus all the way if you had to choose. Double the RAM, better CPU (765G is comparable to the SD845), high refresh rate screen, etc.

you could roll the dice with Pixel refurbs on Daily Steals. I like my Pixel 3a XL for $88 but I think it's out of stock for $88... YMMV. I use it on Safelink with Tracfone VZW sim, no problemo....
