They sent me the new strip without the power adaptor. Using the old adaptor new strip works with old remote! but since its under the tub, can't do anything until next season.

Submitted a warranty claim and got a new remote but that didn't fix it. Called them back and now on a wait-list for a new led strip. Been waiting a few weeks now, apparently it's backordered.

I've been adding a spoonful of chlorine granules a couple times a week, and 2 spoonfuls of shock weekly, seems to be working/testing good. Been in it every night this week, amazing!
