Yeah nah better off buying the Pros. Don't play the lottery on these, especially with Newegg's horrible return policy and customer service.

I just went with Enterprise grade HDDs instead of NAS grade on my home server. Hope it was a good move.

I rarely down vote a thread but IMHO Western Digital needs to be 'punished' for trying to slip SMR HDDs into consumer use by REPURPOSING a decade long solid NAS HDD NAME like the WD Red into an SMR...
