There is electrical code that forbids high voltage within certain distance beside or above (the max water level of) a hot tub / pool. I'd go with a 12V system or solar led lights. Aside check your...

Same here. I am returning them. I bought a 48-foot string and it had double the bulbs. That is what I thought I was getting since the picture looked like the one I had. Don't bother with this deal.

Dang i missed it. So costco ones have 24 bulbs whereas these have 18? (2ft vs 3ft) I wouldnt mind the yellowishness for $20. Hope they go on sale again soon. They would look real good on my...

George Carlin once said " think how dumb the average person is and then realize half of the population is dumber than that". So yes, I think you are exactly correct

I bought a set for 17.99 on amazon and I LOVE them. I wrapped them around my pergola so you cant tell the bulbs are so far apart. They look great though! I aorted low price to high and found the...

Someone asked for the link. Personally, I'd prefer buying from costco. Costco light is 2 ft apart compared to this 3ft apart. Costco light instore is 39.99 after 10 discount.

In the supermarket I've seen people pick up a gallon of milk for $3.99 while right next to it the same 1/2 gallons were $1.69. Amusing and sad.

Does anyone really know what the deal is with the low voltage?! The reason I ask is I want to wrap a pergola with the lights which is over a hot tub. I have a gfi plug but am concerned what would...

Thanks! Those are $50 at the moment. Not a slick deal at all. Why would these be the main comparison product?

You wouldn't notice the difference. Trust me. I do have lights that are 22 inches apart but it doesn't make that much difference once you have them.

Can someone post a link to the Costco bulbs?

Maybe I'm not being clear. I'm not looking for a cooler/bluer light. Here's the deal. Incandescent bulbs, with a CRI of 100, even when producing a warm "yellowish" light, are still outputting a...

Um... Warm White is a red to yellow hue. The temperature will you a more precise indication as to the hue of the white. CRI will also measure color accuracy. So a 2700K Warm White, is a...

Since most people are using these in the dark, that may be a benefit. Warm lights attract less bugs. The cooler the light and closer to the blue spectrum the more insects you are going to attracts....

The reviews indicate that there is a transformer involved, some complain about it being bulky. LED bulbs by nature use much lower wattage, but not necessarily lower voltage. Many screw into a normal...
