I jabbed & handicapped my hand with a broken bit. I highly advise all to buy good quality, name brand M42 cobalt bits. They will last you forever, so they are worth it.

I use them are consider them pretty good for most metals. Most any kind of new sharp bits will drill into wood and plastic.
