Just got it, works 👍 great, smooth and fast. However, the usb c gen 1 does not support alt mode for alt adapter. Gonna return the adapter for actual docking block with power.

Not sure if it's the same models, but costco has 2 similar ideapds and if you read the reviews, both have people complaining about broken hinges. that's a big red flag if it pertains to these models...
