Been using the same model twice a day since 2018. I even take the replacement head out to clean. Zero issues with the shaft or the battery . I only charge it once a week though.

Yes, I charge mine only after I get that low battery warning vibration. Mine still works perfectly fine after almost 4 years of daily usage.
