Got it working. Don’t know how. I busted out my old TMO router and flashed that one. Used that one as the router and the two new ones as nodes. Both nodes are on merlin. Router is on stock...

iirc, there is a guide which mentions an extra 2 mtd5 commands. The bayareatechpros guide we all usually follow doesn't have those.

Thanks. I’ve done all permutation of which is node and which is router. I’ve also cycled through stock firmware (latest) and merlin (latest) across each. I reset NVRAM between each try. Best luck...

No, wireless backhaul in use. But the wired setup does start them in wired backhaul mode. So both backhaul modes are working for me.

I'm on Merlin latest, 386.3_2 on all 4 units. Try an nvram reset on the node first, then on the master. Beyond that, I have no idea.
