I got this exact model about 4 months ago for $580 using the Amex offer. One the best decisions I've made. This thing is not slow at all, and the screen is pretty nice to look at.

8gb...The computer is probably paging... When the computer starts turning dumping ram content to the hard drive... Not bad but you don't want that on a new computer.
