Problem is, you can't trust this one drive for this much data, unless you're double backup, or this as a secondary backup storage. or get 2 so you can double backup.

Yes, I have done many times with the WD 14TB version. You will need a Molex to SATA power cable, or put tape over a pin on the drive as an alternative.
